We’ve been honored to ship kennels addressed to Air Force and Navy SEAL bases, the Pentagon, ATF, the Border Patrol and other military locations around the country – seeing those go out never gets old. More recently we had the opportunity to go see our kennels on site, being used by the Canine Team with the NYPD Emergency Services Unit. More on that below.
[VIDEO] The G1 Small – with Gunner Kennels strength-rated tie-down straps – earned a 5 Star Crash Test Rating from Center for Pet Safety in the Pet Carrier category. The Small is the first, and only, product to be award a dual certification in both the crate and carrier categories. Test dog size: 30 lb.
[VIDEO] Your dog’s safety is our number one concern, so we administered some crazy stress tests to show you just how much the G1™ dog crate can withstand. We tossed Gunner off a cliff, dropped a 630 pound sled on it, simulated a frontal crash at 30 mph, shot it with a shotgun and applied 4,000 pounds of pressure to the crate.
My wife (Becky) and I were in Bishop, a town in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains – an area we try to visit several times a year. We were traveling with our one-year-old birdog Diesel, a Bracco Italiano who’s home on the road has been a G1™ Large dog crate since he was a pup. We usually come for the hunting, hiking, and fly fishing, but this time around we were in town to attend a California Waterfowl Association dinner. The afternoon of the fundraiser the three of us took off on a scouting trout to Owens River and ended up getting our Dodge RAM 2500 stuck in the snow. The situation lead to one of the scariest moments I’ve had.
